That was very very raw and heartfelt.Bravo for sharing it with so many of us. Up until 18 months ago, I would consider my anxiety and OCD as just -’My Dark Places’. I would actively warn people about myself ‘non-pleasantness’.
“The usual, such as avoiding odd numbers for volume or cruise control.”- I divide any numbers I see by 3. :)
I wish dearly I had started writing those feelings out back then, and started seeing a good therapist sooner.
12 months later, I am in a better place. And I really hope you feel more at peace too.
